Gifts that Reduce Taxes
You can help eliminate sexual violence and build healthy communities.
What's more, you can make these generous gifts now and you may receive tax benefits.
If you're interested in exploring any of the below opportunities, please contact Priya, Development Manager
Life Insurance
You can make a gift of a life insurance policy without diminishing other investments or assets earmarked for family members. Since SARA is tax exempt, the full amount of your gift will go directly to supporting our mission.
Retirement Assets
Gifts of retirement assets, such as an employee retirement plan, IRA, or tax-sheltered annuity can shield you or your heirs from taxes while funding SARA. Naming SARA as a beneficiary of your retirement assets generates no income taxes.
Stocks and Bonds
You can name the Sexual Assault Resource Agency (SARA). (Tax ID: 54-1118534) as the beneficiary of a checking or savings bank account, a certificate of deposit (CD), or a brokerage account.
Real Estate
You can donate appreciated real estate, such as a home, vacation property, undeveloped land, farmland, ranch or commercial property. This is an easy and effective way to reduce your taxes, protect your assets and support SARA.
Why I Give...
"My hope is with further community involvement and awareness that sexual violence in our community will continue to decline."
