SARA Seeks New Executive Director

After nearly eight years of service, Becky Weybright is leaving her role as Executive Director of SARA. We are deeply indebted to Becky for her dedication and hard work to advance the mission of the agency over the years. The Board of Directors will be working closely with Becky and the SARA staff to support the agency during this transition, and has initiated a search for a new Executive Director, effective immediately.


The Executive Director will oversee the direction, daily operation, and administration of SARA’s programs, services, staff, and volunteers to fulfill the agency mission to end sexual violence. The Executive Director will be accountable for the financial health of SARA and responsible for promoting the agency to build its financial reserves and goodwill. The ideal candidate will have fundraising experience and will be comfortable acting as the public face of SARA. Management experience is essential, preferably with a nonprofit organization. The Executive Director must demonstrate understanding and value of racial equity, intersectionality, and social justice as organizational operating principles and show commitment to continued learning on issues related to race, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
