Giving Tuesday Auction

Bidding opens at noon on Giving Tuesday, December 1st, and will be open through Sunday, December 6th. All online at AuctionforSARA.com

The local business community is coming together to support The Sexual Assault Resource Agency (SARA) through an online auction entitled “Can’t Put a Price on Hope.” Hosted by Sarah Klein Santa Cruz, a small woman-owned business, this auction highlights unique experiences and items that are perfect for holiday gift-giving. “We are excited and grateful for the donations from our community partners,” said SARA Board Vice President Kim Martin, “This year has been difficult for everyone, and especially trauma survivors. SARA has continued our counseling and support services throughout the pandemic, and the funds raised through this auction will help SARA offer hope and healing to adults and children in our community when they need it most.” Experiences in the auction include running with UVA President Jim Ryan, a falconry lesson at Boar's Head Resort, a Thai cooking class by Chimm, an equestrian clinic by Olympic Rider Will Coleman, a private brewing workshop with Three Notch'd Brewing Co., and even the opportunity to drive a tank over a car! Items include jewelry, gifts, custom artwork, and more. Award-winning photographer Jen Fariello has donated a mini portrait session, and local celebrity chef Laura Fonner is offering a private cooking class. Ting has donated six months of “Crazy Fast Fiber Internet" and acac donated a 3-month family membership! Bidding opens at noon on Giving Tuesday, December 1st, and will be open through Sunday, December 6th. All online at AuctionforSARA.com
