Supporting sexual and domestic violence survivors is essential work

In lieu of a Letter from the Director, this month I am sharing with you an article written by Kristi VanAudenhove, Executive Director of the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance, and Karrie Delaney, Virginia State Representative.

Yet, every day, trained advocates at these community-based programs are ready to respond, at some of the most dangerous and vulnerable times in our lives.
