Marketing/Communications Intern
SARA seeks a creative, hard-working intern who would like to try his/her hand at focus groups and product development. SARA is developing new prevention-focused materials for parents wand will be conducting focus groups during the summer of of 2012. Experience in film or advertising a bonus. Must have strong writing skills. The dates and hours of the internship are flexible, however, we are seeking a commitment of at least 8 weeks, preferably longer. Special Events Intern
SARA seeks an organized, hard-working intern who is interested in learning about non-profit development. This is an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience with fundraising and donor cultivation.
Duties:
• Research and approach sponsorship prospects
• Assist with planning and carrying out special events
• Work in Fundraiser Select (fundraising database) to maintain accurate records and enter new information
Qualifications: Undergraduate student, high computer literacy, discretion, strong verbal communication skills, and commitment to our mission.
The dates and hours of the internship are flexible, however, we are seeking a commitment of at least 6 weeks, preferably longer.
